The Kay Picture Test Near Test Cards are available as either crowded or uncrowded cards using the Kay Picture optotypes.
The cards are packaged in a handy plastic wallet for safe storage in between uses.

The Crowded Near Test Card is perfect for measuring the near vision of pre-literate children and adults with a learning disability. The pictures are sized for 33cm testing distance and measure from 0.8 to -0.1 LogMAR ( 6/38 to 6/4.8 Snellen). The card is A5-sized, double sided and matt-laminated. On each side are both single and linear crowded pictures in crowding boxes, so that children from around 18 months of age upwards can be tested. Each side has a different arrangement of the picture optotypes to test each eye separately.
