Description
Trial lens clips, also known as Halberg or Lens Clips, are use to place lenses on top of the patients glasses without having to hold them in place. They come with a rubberised clip to allow them to gently grip the glasses.
These have many uses in the busy optometry, orthoptic or ophthalmology clinic including:
- Using a high plus lens to occlude one eye in nystagmus patients
- Trialling slight increases or decreases in prescription in younger patients
- AC/A Ratio testing using the ‘gradient method’
- Assessing changes in cover test or prism cover test with a change in glasses prescription
- Trialling prisms in trial lens form
- Trialling fresnel prisms in trial lens form
- Prism adaptation testing
- Double Maddox Rod
- Assessment with Bagolini Trial Lenses
